Uttalande från Finnfoam Group kring import av EPS-råmaterial
EUMEPS, which represents the European EPS industry, has published a statement (please see below) regarding the import of raw materials from belligerent countries such as Russia and Iran.
Finnfoam Group fully supports EUMEPS’ position and is deeply concerned that material from Russia and Iran reaches the European market. This undermines efforts to ensure that the EPS material used in construction products and packaging meets the high health, safety and environmental standards set.
Finnfoam Group distances itself from the import of raw materials from belligerent nations. We are not and will not be importing raw materials from such countries. In addition, we act with suppliers that are not and will not be buying their raw material for polystyrene (styrene monomer), from belligerent nations. We continue to act responsibly and sustainably according to our Code of Conduct with our long term, proven suppliers.
